We have a walking field trip planned for the last day of school. We'll walk up to Lily's house and then over to Whitney's house. Right after lunch, at 12:30 we'll head out and return about an hour later.

Our "John, the OHV Man" video is one of the top three submitted by elementary students. We'll find out where we placed on June 3. Check in on this web site to view the results. (Keep your fingers crossed for first place!)

This year went by so quickly. I have truly enjoyed teaching each and every one of my students. What a great year. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped in so many ways this year. You're the GREATEST!!

May 16-20

We have Mr. Macklin visiting our room each day this week for one hour. He will talk about "Kid Power". This is part of the "Just Say No" program.

The most exciting thing this week is that our video is being judged for an award! Keep your fingers crossed. You can view the video ( I think) at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hxgrlYEXl8 . Let me know if it is/ or isn't there.

Swimming is Tuesday afternoon. Please bring your $1.25, a towel, and swimsuit.
