Please return your January Home Reading Calendar on Tuesday. Our reading reward activity is this Friday at 1:30. We'll be having relay races in the gym. Yahoo!

We're getting a student teacher on Thursday. Mrs. Johnson will be helping in our classroom for the next 6 weeks.

Please bring in an empty cereal box sometime this week. We'll be making our Valentine Day boxes next week.

Hopefully everyone saw the grades that came home on Friday, January 21. Please sign and return the grade report.

January reading calendars are due next week. Our reading goal is 400 minutes. The reading reward activity will be relay races in the gym on February 9.

Our room mothers are planning our Valentine's Day party. If you can help, call or let Lily's mom know.
We have another Life Skills Assembly on Tuesday at 2:30. Our third grade achievement awards will be handed out on Friday at 10 A.M.

We've finished all the cursive letters and will work on spacing and connecting certain letter, such as o to r, v to i, b to r, etc. Very soon, we will begin writing our Daily Oral Language sentences in cursive.

We are finished studying about the Incas, and now will take a look at our own community and how own history compares to that of the ancient Inca society.

Friday, January 7 is HAT DAY for those students that completed their December reading and returned their reading calendar.

We have a new volunteer that is taking several kids for all three third grades to the computer lab each day to work on some math fact practice. We thank Mrs. Johnson for volunteering. We are getting some much needed help in our classroom with the hiring of Mrs. Turnbaugh and Mrs. Meeks.
