September 20 - 24

The third grades are planning a "Moon Watch" activity for Thursday night at 7:45 P.M. We will have a couple of telescopes set up on the third grade playground from 7:45- 8:30 P.M. Please try to stop by and take an up-close and personal look at the moon. We'll also have some binoculars available for all to use.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Cedar City Rotary Club will be coming by to present each third grader with their very own dictionary. The students will use the dictionaries in class this year and then bring them home in May.

Our spelling words for this week include: world , want, important, going, school, forget, homework, remember, play, there, each, right, around, another, help, always, show, asked

Vocabulary words are the same as last week: giddy, boast, stranded , terrible, rescue, resourceful, consequence

We should finish up the keyboarding lessons this week. There were 20 homework assignments. I will be sending home duplicate copies of any assignments that didn't get turned in. Please finish them up as quickly as you can. Now we can start working on some computer projects that tie in with what we are studying.
