November 1- 5

Thanks to Lily's mom for organizing our Halloween party. It was a lot of fun. Thanks also to all the mom's that helped everything run so smoothly. We had a great week and I'm happy to announce that our class won the GRAND PRIZE in the door decoration contest. We each made a little mummy and stuck them on the door with a sign that said, "Don't get wrapped up in drugs."

This week looks a little calm after last week, but we do have an Ice Cream Reward Party planned for Thursday at 3:00. Each student that reached their October reading goal of 400 minutes AND returned their reading calendar will get to walk down to the Arctic Circle for a free ice cream cone. Get those calendars in! The new November calendar will be coming home today.

Thanks to Krystal's mom and Cody's mom for helping us get the school Christmas Wreath finished and delivered to Lin's Grocery Store. Look for it when you're shopping.

Our spelling words for this week are: almost, page, earth , live, got, story, lot, book, family, there, first, through, another, off, always, without, life, head

Vocabulary words: vibrant, stylish, reluctant, retreat, exhausted, envy, originality
